    I drove by those Santa Monica balls this weekend..! Pretty grotesque. Shiny though. Something about gravity…

      Glad to hear they’re grotesque, as the whole aesthetic concept is kind of icky. Reminder of the perpetually entrapping gravity and homogeneity of capitalism?

        Oh! And the design team’s website also admits/purports the piece resembles both ‘a big banana hammock’ and ‘the female reproductive system.’
